Welcome to Bewdley - a great place to live, work and visit

Welcome to bewdley.org.uk where you will find a wealth of information on the Bewdley area including local events, news, business, places to go and places to stay.

Bewdley addresses the river Severn, is set within a rich and undulating landscape, is a gateway to the ancient Wyre Forest and provides a rich townscape heritage.

Bewdley has been described as the most perfect small Georgian town in Worcestershire. Its strongly defined character is based upon a well related collection of fine historic buildings and a series of landmark set pieces which include; Thomas Telford’s Bridge (1798), the imposing St. Anne’s Church at the head of Load Street and the river frontage and former quayside.

The Bewdley website is undergoing significant development so that it can be more useful to local people and to vistors to the town.
