Bewdley

Welcome to bewdley.org.uk where you will find a wealth of information on the Bewdley area including local events, news, business, places to go and places to stay.

Bewdley has been described as the most perfect small Georgian town in Worcestershire. Bewdley addresses the river Severn, is set within a rich and undulating landscape and provides a rich townscape heritage.

Its strongly defined character is based upon a well related collection of fine historic buildings and a series of landmark set pieces which include; Thomas Telford’s Bridge (1798), the imposing St. Anne’s Church at the head of Load Street and the river frontage and former quayside.

For those of you unfamiliar to Bewdley, a good starting point to get acquainted is the Visit Bewdley section.

Bewdley has a strong community network which is celebrated through the diversity of local activity which takes place annually. Click the "What's On" tab for the most current events.

Whether you are a Bewdley resident or visitor, we hope these pages will inspire you to get involved with what’s going on and that you will continue to re-visit both the website and the town.
