Fishing In and Around Bewdley

The River Severn can be legally fished for free within the town with a National Rod Licence.  Roach, chub, dace and perch can be caught and Bewdley is a noted hot spot for barbel.  Additionally private coarse fishing pools are listed below:

Three pools: 2 carp and 1 silverfish. Open 7 days from dawn ‘til dusk.  Costs £4 per day.  Fly fishing available at £10 per day, catch and release.

Five pools.  Open 7 days from dawn ‘til dusk.  Costs £4 per day for adults, £3 for OAPs and £2 for children.  Car park and toilets.

Furnace Mill Fishery, Far Forest

Strawberry Fields Fishery, Bewdley

1 pool: Carp, tench, bream, roach and rudd. Open 7 days. Costs £4 per day. Tickets from Hopleys Farm Shop or café. Feed pellets available from farm shop. Car park, toilets, café, camping, caravanning.
