Bewdleys fourth annual art festival, Bewdley Open Studios. There will again be more than 50 artists at venues including the Museum, the Guildhall, the Bewdley Institute, the High School and at studios and houses about the town.
There is a wide range of media including paintings, prints, etchings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, stained glass, photography, furniture and garden design. Many of the artists are very eminent and all of them produce original and interesting work, which is for sale. They will be available with their work over the weekend.
The event is under the aegis of The Friends of Bewdley Museum and has sponsorship from Midcounties Cooperative.
A card with a list of participants, venues and a map can be obtained at the Tourist Information Centre and the Museum. You may choose to start your art tour at the Museum, where many of the artists will be based, and then move on to other venues.

Associated exhibition
The Wyre Forest Gallery of the Museum hosts an exhibition of pieces for sale. This opens on 12th June and runs for 2 weeks.

Raffle
Kate Wrigglesworth has donated a beautiful framed painting and Bryan Erasmus, a distinguished local potter, has given a fine ceramic bowl.

We are confident that the 2010 event will be as exciting as on previous occasions. Do come and bring your friends from outside Bewdley.
